About Michael Høyer Bæk

Senior IT Manager at Immeo P/S. My main focus is on the development process and ensuring my development teams' path to successful sprints as well as maturing the teams themselves.During my workday I work with my teams and their processes in order to address and finely tune all sorts of minor bumps along the way. I have taken teams with a classic waterfall process and directed them into Scrum but have also worked with bridging the two on an operational level. On a daily basis, I manage 10 developers that report to me and I take care of their HR, vacation, salary negotiation etc. I'm Scrum, Prince 2 and ITIL certified and used to working in IT-based organisations where structure and alignment are two important cornerstones. I was initially trained as a classic Prince 2 PM, but I quickly found it too rigid in a hectic workday with many variables. Therefore, I chose a certification as Scrum Master in order to facilitate an agile environment that co-exists along with Prince 2 on an operational level. I keep myself updated on new theories and directions within project management and continue to improve my toolset and experience.Specialties: certified project manager with an eye for teambuilding and foundation, process design and implementation. Ecommerce experience as well as global product development. Education:Information- and Media Science at The University of Aarhus. Master thesis on crossmedia storytelling in contemporary film.Courses:Project manager basic education at the Aarhus Erhvervsakademi.Prince2 certified project manager at the International Business College in Kolding.Scrum Master at Firebrand in Helsingborg Training Fascility.ITIL Foundation at the University of Aarhus
