Senior Administrator For Continuing Healthcare
CurrentThe purpose of the role is “to oversee and deliver an effective level of administration and consistently ensure a “client-focused” service which promotes effective working relationships and to oversee the accurate and timely inputting and maintaining of data on data systems, together with the associated correspondence, ensuring standard operating procedures are applied.”Main duties:• Working closely with clinical leads and nurse assessors, all admin related to a patients journey though the CHC process from referral to outcome• Managing 2 inboxes, one for referrals and one for brokerage meaning anything to do with the finances and packages of care from providers, working in partnership with the commissioning department of Buckinghamshire Council. • Delegation to 6 administrators leaving more serious functions for myself and the other 2 Senior Admins such as minuting meetings e.g. best interest meetings, decision making or appeal panels. • Creating and collating all files for independent review or appeal panels.• Checking official letters and documents before they are sent as well as drafting bespoke correspondence for clinicians.• Ensuring CRM system is accurate with no errors• Managing telephone system • Communicating with any patients or family members regarding the service or on behalf of Buckinghamshire Council commissioning team• Procurement of any office suppliesAs well as the admin functions there is significant team management duties involved:• Directly line managing 2 staff members, indirectly managing the other 4• Providing support, training, and coaching to entire team as well as inductions for new staff• Creation of rotas for office/home working• Managing, tracking and approving annual leave across the admin team.• Managing and tracking sickness• PDR’s and annual appraisals of team.• Assisting with Occupational health referrals and supporting following the OH report• Mediation between any team members as required.
