I assembled a brand new team and brought the project to the leader of the market. My team made the product work and be load-bearing from technology point of view.• Rutube figured out how to grow the audience by 100% each year and the number of video streams by 150%. Rutube become the Russian online video service number one: up to 17 M unique visits per month• Platform effectively combined into one concept professional and social video content. This allowed to enhance user experience and made Rutube the service ‘Where I watch the video’• Defined proper monetisation model and created appropriate commercial products that are able to lead company to break even• In 2012 under my management fully re-launched the service with demanded advanced functionality and modern design. Later, in 2014 Rutube was about to sold to the largest Russian telco group Rostelecom with valuation $75 mln. My mission was to prove the effectiveness of format among advertisers and build up the new market segment.• As CEO at Rutube created the first commercial in-stream video products and began selling (earlier than YouTube in Russia and CIS). Made the first deep local researches how in-stream video ad format affects the audience.• Combined in one ad network other sites with video inventory and initiated the project that now called GPM-Digital — sales house specialising on in-stream video ad. This solved the issue of large coverage/penetration for video advertising and its placements through the whole Russian Internet audience (without intersection).• I standardized the format. Cooperate for this purpose with IAB Russia to enlist their support and implemented VAST (Video Ad Serving Template), as well• Persuaded ComScore to launch Video Metrix in Russia and strongly supported this process. During the first three years in-stream video ad stayed the fastest growing segment of online media advertising in Russia and exceeded 10% of share. I figured out that the growth centres could be:• Growing of GRP (and the income from federal advertising at the same time) by increasing the share of TV- viewing in the cities that included in TNS-panel• Sale of regional advertising in cities with 1M+ population. The company started funds raise and then acquisition of essential stations. From 5 cities of own station network increased up to 23 in year first• I organised and optimised full cycle of operations of all own stations and managing unit at TNT channel's HQ• To increase the overall efficiency: centralised of management processes, implementation of standards in all business areas, common information systems, planning, reporting, optimising the number of employees: halving, hiring of key staff, etc• Retooling station for better technical signal penetration in the cities of broadcasting: the purchase and commissioning of the new transmitters, producing new studios, distribution of signal through the cable networks• All local marketing activities: up to 5 promo campaigns a year to promote TNT channel in each city with 360-degree approach, including guerrilla marketing• Local advertising salesBy the end of the year second the entire network of own stations became profitable and federal share of TNT channel's TV-viewing increased from 4.5% to 7%.Check out more here:http://stations.tnt-online.ru/
