Team lead of a small development team within Acumen, responsible for guiding the team through various projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.I spearheaded the ground-up development of an integrated Sales CRM for Forcelink. This system was designed to manage leads, deals, and customer relationships, enhancing the platform's capabilities and providing users with a comprehensive tool for sales and customer management.As part of a two-person team, we implemented a CI/CD pipeline using a self-hosted instance of GitLab. This setup allowed each developer to create a branch and spin up their own instance of the application and database, enabling seamless adoption of the GitHub Flow development process. The applications were then deployed to Kubernetes using Helm, streamlining the deployment process and improving the efficiency and reliability of our development workflows.I designed and implemented a high-availability bare metal server architecture to meet Forcelink's hosting requirements. This architecture ensured robust performance, reliability, and uptime, supporting the platform's critical operations and providing a solid foundation for its growth and scalability.

Contributed to various projects for Forcelink, including developing a Covid sign-in feature, creating an inspection list builder, and implementing general system improvements. Additionally, addressed bug fixes to enhance the platform's overall functionality and user experience, ensuring it met the evolving needs of its users. Also played a key role in the inception of the iOS version of Forcelink, helping to launch the mobile platform successfully.From April 2021 I collaborated in a two-person team to successfully containerize the 15-year-old Java codebase of Forcelink, a SaaS product from Acumen Software. This containerization enabled us to deploy the monolithic web application at scale, significantly improving its flexibility and manageability. Following this, we set up a bare-metal Kubernetes cluster and used Helm for deployment, culminating in the implementation of this solution into the production environment in August 2021. This project modernized the deployment process and enhanced the scalability and reliability of Forcelink.

Continuing the development of an in-house indoor tracking system for Forcelink, focusing on ensuring seamless integration with the workforce management platform. Additionally, working on general development tasks to improve the overall functionality and user experience of the Forcelink product, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of its users.

Researched and integrated Bluetooth beacon technology for indoor location tracking with Forcelink, a workforce management software, enhancing real-time tracking capabilities. Led the development of an in-house tracking system, optimizing location accuracy and efficiency by selecting appropriate hardware, designing architecture, and developing an interface with the Forcelink mobile application. I developed prototypes to demonstrate system benefits, and provided technical documentation. This work contribed to the application's workforce management capabilities.

I designed and developed a comprehensive CRM and BI platform, ExplorerBI (explorerbi.com), from the ground up using Python and Django. The platform provides a robust solution for sales and customer management, tailored to meet the specific needs of businesses. It includes multiple specialized modules such as Human Resource Management, Property Management, Marketing Management, Rental Forecasting, and Stock Management, allowing businesses to manage their operations more efficiently in one integrated system.One of the platform's core strengths is its versatility and user-friendly interface, offering a range of powerful functionalities. These include reporting, dashboarding, customized lists and forms, mass mailer creation and sending, landing page generation, and customer portals. Each module is designed with scalability and flexibility in mind, allowing businesses to adapt the system to their specific workflows. The platform empowers users to create detailed reports, visualize data in real-time, manage customer interactions, and streamline operations across multiple departments.In addition to building and maintaining the platform, I oversee the ongoing development of new features and client-specific integrations. This involves working closely with clients to understand their evolving needs and ensuring the system is continuously updated with the latest tools and functionalities. I also manage the technical operations of the business, ensuring the platform remains reliable and scalable as it grows, and providing technical support to clients to ensure smooth implementation and operation.
