Requested by Fleetwood to come into this parts sales and warranty service plant to help bring back into compliance with corporate/Federal guidelines for Generally Accepted Accounting Principals. A troubled conversion from a legacy accounting system to JD Edwards left numerous accounts unbalanced and un-reconciled. Responsibilities included overseeing all.

Requested by Fleetwood Management to help create an audit department to assure dealership compliance to warranty policies. Duties included monthly research of high-risk dealers including monthly report generation sent to Fleetwood and dealership management and staff. Conducted onsite compliance audits of dealer warranty and service departments. Taught.

Worked briefly with the Fleetwood Dealer Network Group installing warranty claim software at dealerships. Strong computer and technical knowledge was required for this position. Also responsible for training dealership warranty staff on the use and maintenance of the software. Supervisor: Jeff Holtzclaw, Zone Service Manager.

Responsible for pre-legal customer contact. Conducted settlement negotiations. Researched motor home unit histories for use by the department. Defended Fleetwood at Texas and New York State Lemon Law hearings. Also responsible for resale of buy-back motor homes. Supervisor: Barry Krueckeberg, Warranty Coordinator.

Took retail customer calls. Answered customer warranty and technical questions. Conducted unit research. Pulled prints for customer use. Drafted customer contact letters. Supervisor: John Mestlin, Warranty Coordinator.

Managed accounting department. Involved in all aspects of accounting for this small business. Duties included accounts receivable invoicing and collections, payroll calculations, supervising accounts payable, monthly and quarterly financial statement generation, maintaining earnings and depreciation schedules, and cash management among others.
