ZIVA is a global leader in the design and manufacture of commercial fitness equipment. Notable clients include global brands Les Mills, Anytime Fitness, Snap Fitness, Jetts Fitness, UFC Gym.Under my leadership, new structures in financial, sales and operational management were introduced which led to a business revival; doubling revenue, halving operating expenses and tripling average profit margin. Our goals were exceeded by leveraging technology. I personally lead the development of a custom enterprise platform with a hands-on approach to developments while balancing RTB and CTB, using Salesforce as the core technology in Client Resource Management (CRM), Inventory Management, Sales and Financial Management. To facilitate the rapid increase in growth, we designed and developed a dedicated member portal for franchise owners, where orders of franchise approved and branded equipment could be placed and tracked, payments could be made and service cards opened and closed according to corporate and master franchise terms. The platform was successfully launched in time for the rollout of a new functional fitness solution being installed into 56 franchise and corporate clubs across Australia.I took ownership of business development in the Australia region taking accountability for all lead-to-sales, procurement, logistical operations, order fulfilment and financial management of the region. Taking responsibility for the good and the bad within the sales pipeline. Under my leadership the business repaired critical client relationships and successfully grew ones, driving year-over-year revenue growth by 150%.In association with ZIVA Corporate design office and key clients, I designed and successfully launched new products into the Australian market and subsequently guided product roll-outs to key clients across APAC and AMEA, opening opportunity for growth into new market sectors and making an impact with products that are still in production today.

Trotech Engineering (Efficient Trotech) specializes in the design, manufacture and construction of bulk storage and process tanks in the Petro-chemical, Oil & gas, Pulp & paper and Mining industries across Sub-Saharan Africa. Some notable clients include Chevron, BP and Total, BHP and Anglo American.During my two-year contract, my focus was on directing the Chevron Refinery process tank maintenance contract from both a project and technical standpoint. The Chevron Refinery oil refinery has a production capacity of 100,000 barrels per day and a range of petrochemical products which include petrol, diesel, jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, fuel oil and paving asphalt.The maintenance of refinery process and storage tanks involved the deployment of resources to many worksites across the refinery, operating individually on tank repairs, new builds or NDT testing.Under my leadership we introduced innovative new project management systems that enhanced daily collaboration across stakeholders and boosted daily productive man-hours by 15%, increased Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) daily meterage, and reduced welding rework by 10%.To supplement the accelerated progress on projects, the need arose to redesign and implement a new pricing platform in order to facilitate a quicker and more agile pricing tool to ensure faster client approvals for new work and scope variations, optimizing negotiation and avoiding delays, downtime and overruns.As lead on the project, I owned strategic presentations, negotiations, collaborations on critical path management, project change management, qualitative and quantitative progress analysis, supplier performance and resource deployment.During my tenure the team successfully implemented a zero-harm leadership approach and achieved a project milestone of the longest duration of manhours without harm.Other responsibilities at the company included tender submissions for storage tank installations across Southern Africa.
