The main role of the Success Coach program is to assist new online students in settling into university study and to provide them with support and guidance throughout the trimester. • Weekly email updates and responding to any questions that they may have • Regular Skype sessions with students to assist in maintaining contact with them and to address issues that they may have • Assisting the students in making social connections with other online students

• Providing advice and devising practical solutions for students with various academic inquiries • Assisting students with academic questions and problems both in person and online • Performing public speaking roles and presentations in order to promote the Writing Mentors' service.

• Attend Deakin Central, SHS Hub and other scheduled sessions on time and be mentally prepared• Maintain good knowledge of Deakin’s SHS programs and be highly familiar with website• Maintain a professional attitude and demeanour at all times• Referred any issues to relevant areas (Health Services, Study Skills, Counselling)

• Coordinate a team of 20 ambassadors across three campuses • Manage the logistics of pop up stalls at each campus such as ordering all materials and rostering staff

• Work with priority and at risk students and seeks to intervene early to best assist and help them make the best of their time at Deakin • I work in the call centre to contact at risk students to check how they are going with their studies and provide assistance where we can, including referring them to other support services at Deakin

The AED Legal Centre assists those with disability who require legal assistance in the field of employment and education. It offers free legal advocacy to clients but also actively promotes the de-stigmatisation of mental disability and focuses on what those will mental illness can offer to employers (rather than what they cannot).
