Project Manager, Climate Corps
Current- Manage a portfolio of host organization relationships to ensure programmatic execution for an innovative fellowship program (Climate Corps®) that places graduate students into companies, cities, and nonprofits to help advance clean energy projects and climate goals.- Develop and execute professional development workshops to teach Climate Corps network members strategies they can employ to secure green jobs, become effective climate and environmental justice advocates, and excel as sustainability leaders.- Work with EDF's Sustainable Finance team to research the latest cutting-edge decarbonization trends in various industries and communicate the science to business and investor audiences. - Conduct benchmarking projects comparing different net zero pathways among key stakeholders in the airline industry as well as other carbon-intensive industries by taking a deep-dive into ESG/financial reporting and publicly available emissions data.- Research the feasibility of blue/green hydrogen and Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS) applications in heavy industry and the economic, climate, and social risks associated with certain use cases. - Collaborate with EDF’s Political Affairs team to amplify EDF’s climate policy agenda through establishing frequent grassroots engagement with target Members of Congress both in-district and on Capitol Hill.
