Overseeing a highly skilled team of engineers and working closely with shipyard management and external suppliers/contractors to ensure the successful delivery of structural engineering and production projects. Developing internal procedures and documentation to ensure efficiency in design, improve quality, maintain high standards of work and compliance with rules and standards.

In this role I developed strong analytical skills with experience in project analysis, project management, documentation, and presentation, in all phases of vessel design from concept through to construction and delivery. Experienced with numerous naval architecture and engineering software packages.I was mainly responsible for the development of sophisticated solutions which balanced structural integrity, manufacturing simplicity, low weight and long-lasting design drivers. I was also responsible for ensuring vessel stability and generating documentation to meet classification society requirements. I also supervised less experienced team members through the checking of work and coaching, as required.
