As an Environmental Educator with I Love A Clean San Diego, I implement dynamic K-12 environmental education programs throughout San Diego County. My role involves delivering engaging and informative presentations on key environmental topics such as stormwater pollution prevention, watershed education, zero waste, and recycling. On a weekly basis, I present to schools and San Diego's youth, ensuring this generation gains an understanding of sustainability and environmental stewardship.In addition to presentations, I actively participate in community outreach events, opperating the Hazardous Waste hotline, working closely with schools, corporations, and governmental agencies to foster positive relationships. I also manage the setup, breakdown, and logistical coordination for various events, ensuring all materials and supplies are well-maintained. Supporting large-scale initiatives like Kids Ocean Day and community cleanups allows me to engage with diverse groups and expand the reach of ILACSD’s mission. Through these efforts, I contribute to fostering environmental awareness and action across the region.

I am a paid intern with Human Resources where I support the Employ & Empower Internships, as well as the City's Volunteer program. I manage and create the City's Volunteer Newsletter alongside others. This allows me to connect with members of the city government but also with members of my community. I coordinate with both volunteer and intern supervisors to help our city programs run smoothly. Over the summer of 2023, I also helped with the City's first-ever City Civics Summer Intern program where we hired/onboarding well over 100 interns in just a couple of months.

Worked in a unique group where about 7 of us would discuss technology applications, management systems, as well as services provided. This included discussing topics like the premium membership of Vital Care, and loyalty programs like Spa Club, PALs program, and the Free Food Program.We also discussed future integrative technologies that would roll out to stores. I would provide insight from the perspective of an employee in the store. I would critique pathways, settings, and even ergonomics. There was no issue to be overlooked.

I started as a cashier in 2017 where I would enroll guests into loyalty programs and provide excellent customer service. I was then shifted to the general sales floor where I learned several skills in regards to animal care. I became pet nutrition certified for dogs and cats, allowing me to be even more confident in my skills.
