Working within Enterprise Services I managed a portfolio of applications to support CBA's Group Security business unit. This included SAS systems for Fraud Management and Financial Crimes, a bespoke data integration engine built on the Ab Initio platform, IBM i2 investigations system, and xMatters crisis and business continuity communications cloud software solutions. I managed the service management and operations support team ensuring delivery of ITIL service operations functions including incident and problem management, service and change requests, capacity management, and demand planning.I previously supported the Group's Property and Procurement IT systems supporting Ariba and Maximo applications. Throughout my career at CBA I worked extensively with outsourced Application Support Providers (both onshore and offshore), technology partners, and third party software vendors to deliver changes in line with the Group's IT systems roadmap.I supported and implemented systems across a number of different IT platforms including Mainframe, Unix, Windows Virtual Servers, DB2 and SQL Server.In line with internal objectives my team had a strong focus on internal and external customer satisfaction, delivered through excellent management of systems and processes. This also incorporated industry standards such as ITIL, PMBOK, SDLC3 and Lean/Six Sigma.

I provided tailored strategic business solutions for the North East’s Regional Development Agency. I managed the Information Management and Technology Team to deliver successful outcomes on numerous work streams including business systems developments, information security, disaster recovery, business continuity, electronic working and information management. I defined the strategy and associated investment budget for 2008-11, delivered in partnership with the agencies outsourced IT service provider.

In my role as Systems Specialist at the University of Durham, I was responsible for engaging with the Development and Alumni Relations Office and the Estate Management department for the enhancement and support of their ERP and CRM Management Information Systems. I also supported other Unisys client projects around the UK to deliver new functionality and process improvements. I completed a series of vendor selections, market analysis studies, competitor benchmarking and due diligence assessments.

Working as a Consultant with specialist knowledge of Maximo Enterprise Resource Planning software I worked both autonomously and as part of larger project groups to implement strategic changes to asset management and procurement processes.
