Michael Minard, born in Waterloo, Iowa, graduated from Hawkeye Community College with an associate's degree in digital mass media. He has written and directed several award-winning short films, including "Hollow Walls," "The Entity," and "From the Void." In June 2022, Minard completed his first feature-length film, "You Should Have Killed Me," which was released on August 29, 2023, through Bayview Entertainment. He has since finished his second feature, "The Wicked Ways of Webster County."Michael currently works as a commercial videographer at KWWL, where he has extensive on-set experience in sound design, operating multiple cameras, and directing crews of over 20 people.
