Michael is an OIQ certified engineer since 2013 with a passion for technology, a drive for success and an interest in collaborating to move the AEC industry forward. Having completed a masters in structural engineering (M.Eng) in 2011, Michael has been providing technological solutions for engineering and construction companies. During his employment at Graitec Inc. Michael was able to help small engineering firms to large governmental entities with structural analysis solutions. This position helped Michael discover a passion for BIM. Following this Michael had the privilege of working at AECON, streamlining the BIM workflow, on the construction site of NouvLR’s historic Réseau express métropolitain (REM). Today, Michael has the pleasure of working at Sociéte Québécoise des infrastructures (SQI). As a “Responsable BIM” at SQI Michael’s role is to progress infrastructure construction, help provide BIM adoption and coordinate collaborative opportunities by being at the forefront of BIM procedures within Quebec.
