One of the founding members of the Geospatial SME group at Databricks. Within that role have worked with a variety of spatial frameworks, offered thought leadership for current geospatial product and solution direction, authored content, and spoken at numerous Databricks sponsored events.Draw on 20 years of experience in Public Sector experience to articulate the architecture that powers Databricks and how it can be implemented even in the most complex and cutting-edge distributed processing systems. Earned an EE B.S. from West Point in 1999 and completed a Software Engineering MA from Harvard while at Databricks. Before joining the company, honorably served up to the rank of Captain in the Army during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom and performed engineering functions within an identity management product, a commercial semantic network analysis product, and researched graph analysis techniques over motion imagery processing systems.
