Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering drawings and schematics using knowledge of electrical principles, test electrical or electronic components, Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problemWork with mechanical, optical, and electrical engineers to create, fabricate and improve assembly fixtures, Work with machine and Ink shops to modify prototype mechanical assemblies, Recommend improvements on assembly processes and system design in view of performance, quality, and safety, Maintain good recordkeeping of conditions and results of assembly and testing, 4 years+ of experience as a technician / Engineer Aid in the related field of technical manufacturing, Possess a BS degree or relevant work experienceManual dexterity to handle sub-millimeter components with precision and care with attention to details, Understand and operate complex equipment and systems from manuals or training working knowledge of machine shop equipment, Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical test equipment, Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to others in different functions, at various levels, Experience working in FDA regulated industry preferred.
