Managed five teams providing strategic planning, new technology development, systems engineering, program management, and budget management support for a $35M division at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) responsible for enhancing security and optimizing mission performance by re-engineering the aviation security system. Provided oversight and management of TSA’s research and development prototyping efforts and partnership with Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate to develop new screening technologies capable of detecting new and emerging threats. Supported development of TSA’s strategic technology roadmap which defined current capabilities, identified gaps, and identified technological initiatives, strategic partnerships, and investments to propel the Agency forward.

Led a 65 person division in the daily operations and maintenance of two multi-million dollar A4W/A1G nuclear reactor plants at sea during a seven month deployment and during nine months of an advanced shipyard period. Relied on by leadership to execute the most complex nuclear evolutions that required weeks of preparation and pre-evolution briefings to over fifty ships personnel and external nuclear oversight organizations
