As a Building Manager I am in charge of making periodic rounds to ensure the safety and upkeep of the UIC student centers, Maintains the Campus Unions facilities environment which includesappearance (posters, cleanliness of general building) and atmosphere (temperature, lighting, sound), Communicate all operations and campus situations to staff as needed, take comments and complaints from students and patrons, Coordinates supervision of student employees with professional staffmembers, and support campus programs that may need assistance, and opening/closing the student centers. I am also in trusted with a key set which has all of the keys to the student centers and related facililities.

I watch the front gate at the Student Housing facilities across east and south campus. I am in charge of taking calls, answering questions, keeping track of keys, helping coordinate temporary housing, track and rent campus equipment, and during the summer help coordinate convention housing.
