Loopa is a textile development company co-owned by Ms. Reut Nehushtan (my wife) and myself. The company is based on the owners extensive knowledge in textile R&D, Design, Innovation and International Marketing. Today owned solely by my wife Reut Nehushtan - I act as an advisor on various issues).Key operations• Operating on a global platform, coordinating between raw material suppliers, mills, laboratories to perform any ordered project or internally created project.• Initiating innovative constructions and compositions, constantly re-defining, re-questioning machinery capabilities and material initial purposes.• Creating a international group of various teams “cloud manufacturing” to comply with any given task.Personal responsibilities• Leadership - making sure that all the elements composing the company (employees & outsource providers) , co-work in alignment and coordination, even under tight schedules and/or budgets.• Management of all sectors of the business - finance, strategy, development• Leading R&D and innovation - making sure that the company is always “a step ahead”• Coordinating between all external elements of the company (both suppliers & customers) and the internal elements (design, finance, development)• Trend seeking and interpretation of ideas to material.

Sustainable commercial textiles and textile materials

OETI is part of the TEXTEX group, and is responsible for testing & certifying fibers/yarns/textiles/textile products/ chemicals etc’ in the Balkan, Middle East, Turkey & Italy. As country manager I am exposed to the latest information in innovation and sustainability of the textile field.

Achieving customer requirements by coordinating between various facilities selected (ex: lab, production, design, QC) for each project. Collaborating with CIRTex marketing to achieve the goals required and work within the budget structure.

Ramtex Design is an Upholstery & Curtain Textile mill located in Bnei Brak Israel. The company size was about 80 employees, 25 Jacquard looms, a warping plant and a finishing plant.Key operations• Upholstery and Curtain weaving mill.• Main market type - commercial contract (office, hospital, cruise ship, hotel etc’)• Market place - USA & Israel (main markets), Europe, AustraliaPersonal Responsibilities • Managing the export department.• Initially Export Marketing on a global scale. Attending textile fairs and visiting customers on a regular basis.• Managing all aspects of R&D - after my first year at Ramtex I was re-positioned and in addition to the marketing department I was promoted to R&D management.• Detecting trends and transforming the ideas to the design studio & engineering department to turn them into product.• Coordinating development of new ideas and customer requests to fabrics.• Understanding completely all production possibilities to detail• Constant connection with key personal at the mill to deploy ideas
