Generally - services as required. TL;DR SUMMARYI began my love of all things "geek" when my Grandfather handed me my first Asimov novel. Fast forward a few years and I had a computer science degree and a software development job in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Following a move to Toronto from Belfast, I transitioned into web development.Most of my employers have been small to mid-sized companies where the environment normally lends itself to people who want to work on as many areas as they can. I've worn many hats from design, UX, development, business analysis to now being a CTO (a role that makes use of many more hats). I keep mentioning hats. I need a new metaphor.Although I try to keep sometime outside of work for my interests, I do work as a freelance technical consultant for clients such as E-Store Monster and other associates with on-line ventures. Freelance is a great vehicle for me to develop skills in new areas and invest my time in projects I believe in.
