I teach evening hybrid classes of Intro to Graphic Design. During the semester the student develops the skills and understanding of the Adobe Software Suite and the Mac OS computer system. They are guided through Mac basics, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Working towards creating a more modern and cohesive look for the company, I layout, design, and code the company's daily B2C and B2B email blasts as well as bi monthly website homepage updates. To help tie in with the emails and website, I generate social media content and imagery as requested. When needed, I clean up and retouch various products for the company's catalogs and website. I help manage and layout our amazon listings and landing page.

As a digital photo retoucher, I helped clean up and retouch images to bring them up to the company's current standards. This involved image clean up of various jewelry and glass products, each presenting their own unique challenges. Heavy use of the pen tool and a Wacom tablet were vital to achieving these standards.

Working at G&S, I created digital and physical materials for various packaging projects, catalogs, and marketing collateral. This involved photographing and retouching products and their floor/shelf displays both on white and in lifestyle settings. Mocking up physical packaging and prototypes to send to potential buyers was a huge part of the job. Working with the marketing department, we helped create a more modern and cohesive brand identity that helped bring their look up to current standards.

Wickliffe, Oh

Lubrizol creates various chemicals and oils and they run tests nationwide using various engines in either trucks, cars, or heavy equipment. When the test is over they send the engine or transmission back to the lab to be torn apart, tested, photographed, and recorded. I would photograph the parts after they had been tested. These images were then outlined, dropped to white, and compiled into a report for their engineers and archiving purposes.

First and fore most I assisted with managing the photo studio and film based darkroom. I would lend students equipment as needed and assist them with the operation of said equipment or the labs other various tools. As the photography lab assistant, my other main duty was the management of about 5 different Mac based computer labs for the entire creative and photography departments. At the end of each semester I would upgrade all the computer's software and set up the accounts for the upcoming semester. This involved a lot of running around and time management to achieve this before the next semester began. For color critical classes, I would calibrate the monitors and printers so that what you see on your screen is what you would get when you are ready to print.

As a cashier and customer service representative, I assisted customers in completing their purchase and answered any last minute questions they may have had about the store's policies. I cleaned up and rearranged the front end isle at the end of each night before heading up to count and check the money in the til.
