Michael Koss is a Relationship Manager with Wells Fargo's Corporate Properties Group (CPG). He is responsible for developing workforce and location strategies, and ensuring strategic partnership between internal lines of business and CPG. Prior to this role he served as a Director in JLL Strategic Consulting’s People and Process Practice where he sourced and led client engagements related to business process improvement, strategic alignment, operational and financial efficiency, governance, risk management and business continuity, capital planning, and M&A. Previously, Michael spent a number of years with CPG. As an Initiatives and Analytics Manager supporting the Corporation’s nearly 60mm square feet of administrative and critical facilities sites overseeing business process, capital planning, and change management initiatives. Prior to that role, he served as a Project Governance and Operational Risk leader where he implemented a model for consistent capital spend evaluation and prioritization that aligned with corporate and regulatory requirements.Michael’s analytic approach and client focused mindset is based in his public accounting and professional services background. A Certified Public Accountant, Michael began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the Audit, and Corporate Finance and Restructuring practices where he served middle market and global entities including Enron, Volvo, and Westpoint Stevens.Michael holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina, along with a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Georgia and an SHRM-SCP credential. A recipient of the Charlotte Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award, Michael has held leadership positions on a number of nonprofit boards in Charlotte. He is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte and Leadership South Carolina. Michael is also an EMT and EMS instructor, and has been involved in aspects of public safety and emergency management most of his adult life.
