Mike Kurze has held numerous positions within the Financial Services Industry with a strong focus on FinTech Product Management and new business line creation. Experience includes Buy Side, Sell Side and FinTech firms.Most recently, Mike was building several new business and service lines at TradeStation Securities with focus on Asset Management firms, Hedge Funds and RIA's. This included creating an ETF specialty and agency trade desk, an institutionally focused relationship management team and various new product offerings from prime services and stock lending to algos, EMS/OMS integrations and various reporting suites.Prior to his 8 years at TradeStation, Mike was leading Townsend Analytics MiFID initiative, which resulted in RealTick being first to market with several MiFID specific offerings. These include the first European Virtual Aggregated Book (EuroVAB) and complete BOAT and Chi-X data launch on day 1 of MiFID. Mike was also responsible for productizing Townsend's Matching (Exchange) Services, catering to Dark Pools, SI, MTF and ECN. Prior to this he ran Townsend's European Operations.Mike started his career as a Trainee at Deutsche Bank and held several trader positions, including Head Sales Trader at smaller brokerage firms. Mike has previously held FINRA series 3, 7, 24, 34 and 63 licenses.
