With over 25 years in the broadcasting industry, I have been able to obtain and demonstrate a great deal of engineering experience in television. I've done everything from Videotape Operator in my earlier years to Engineering Management today. I've also driven and operated a 32' Digital Satellite Production truck as an EIC. I've worked with local news stations and national news and sports networks. And after I learned how those systems worked, I started to redesign and overhaul production trucks, as well as ENG and DSNG vehicles. I've also designed and installed 4 Production Control Rooms, an HD Master Control Room, as well as handled many corporate projects and local capital projects too.I love doing what I do and I've made a ton of friends and acquaintances along the way. One thing I learned early on in my experience is that our industry is unique and tightly knit. I've crossed paths with many others I've worked with here and again in my journey, as I'm sure you have. To be able to earn my co-worker's respect and faith in my abilities is one of the true ways I measure my success. It goes beyond just getting the job done. It's by doing right by your co-workers, treating them with respect as professionals, and offering encouragement when the time is right.
