I support my co-founders with technical advisory in the development of a robotic system which improves the staging process of colorectal cancers. Tenomix Inc. is a start-up aiming to improve pathology lab efficiency and accuracy with state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Not currently taking clients as I focus my efforts on Tenomix's mission.I specialize in bringing your product idea from 0 to 1, building out your first electromechanical prototypes, business case/pitch deck refinement and de-risking technical hurdles on your path to seed funding. Aufero Medical designs and fabricates novel devices to improve cardiac catheter ablation surgeries through mechatronic stabilization. We aim to improve clinical outcomes for patients suffering from atrial fibrillation and other heart arrhythmia.

I was a teaching assistant for the Senior Mechatronic Systems Engineering Design (Capstone) course for two consecutive years. During this time I evaluated reports, technical documentation including circuit and component schematics. I also offered frequent technical and team dynamics consulting to the student groups.I also was a TA for the Engineering Ethics, Sustainability & Law course for two consecutive summers. This role involved more conventional TA duties such as delivering occasional lectures, marking assignments and proctoring.

A major focus was placed on prototyping for design iterations of medical devices using both SLA and MJM additive manufacturing in addition to 4-Axis CNC milling.

I fabricated control systems and housings for biomedical mechatronic devices while getting a taste of startup life.

I developed and manufactured MRI compatible mechanized devices. Specifically, these devices perform cardiac catheter ablation surgery via remote commands. Afterwards I was involved in the design and manufacture of control systems to guide a multitude of different catheter manipulation devices.Further research involved development of micro-CT scanner peripherals to facilitate overlaid tissue differentiation on single-energy scanners. (In conjunction with CIHR/Joint Motion Program)

As VP External, my job is to represent Western Engineering students to national and provincial engineering organizations. These include Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE), the Engineering Student Societies' Council of Ontario (ESSCO), and the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students (CFES).

I was a Co-op student at the Wolf Lab working with High Tibial Osteotomy (HTO) data and patients. I primarily processed data recorded on a 3D motion tracking array working with the "Cortex" software suite.
