The Engineering Student Societies' Council of Ontario (ESSCO) facilitates communication between 17 engineering student societies ("EngSocs" or "ESS's") in Ontario. ESSCO represents over 30,000 engineering students from 16 post-secondary institutions to Professional Engineers Ontario, the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, the Council of Ontario Deans of Engineering, and many others. ESSCO brings EngSocs together at a number of conferences throughout the year to share student societies' best practices - helping them learn from each other to improve their services, operations and events for engineering students across Ontario.
