In my third year on council, I pushed for a data-driven approach to advocacy as the AVPA, requesting data from the faculty and using other published data to drive our advocacy efforts. I also worked with Equity clubs and encouraged student leaders to start new ones. I presented a motion to council to make this a full VP role, which would allow more meaningful advocacy from the UES moving forward, which passed, creating the new VP position. I've also represented students on internship by advocating for us to maintain full-time student status, increased opportunities through Western Connect, and better support from the co-op office, including more granular information about average wages by discipline.

• Facilitated the ongoing transition to Industry 4.0 objectives by conducting data practice audits, digitizing manual processes using the MS Power Platform, & defining our Universal Name Space server • Improved the assembly process by designing tooling layouts in CAD & resequencing operations to improve cycle times, while ensuring operator safety• Implemented project management software while helping lead a cross-functional team to delegate issues, prepare weekly presentations for leadership and collaborate on improvement projects
