Law clerk to Justice Gorsuch

Served as Assistant Solicitor General with responsibility for appeals, amicus briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court and high profile litigation and policy review.

I worked as an associate practicing in the Litigation and Religious Institutions Groups. At the firm I was responsible for all phases of litigation including a solo trial defending a veil piecing claim. For religious clients I served as outside general counsel and provided assistance with civil rights defenses in litigation.

I had the great pleasure of doing litigation at Otten Johnson prior to my Tenth Circuit clerkship. My experience included representing a church in a dispute with Boulder County over a land use application (RLUIPA), defense of qui tam claims for a large company and other litigation matters.

I had the pleasure of serving as a judicial extern for my final law school semester for Judge Figa.
