Michael Lotti serves as Operations Manager for manager for MC2 Renewable Energy Services, a full-service renewable energy division within Milton CAT. He has 30+ years of comprehensive experience in the technical, financial, and administrative management of brownfield/greenfield construction projects and renewable energy projects. Mr. Lotti works closely with his clients, teamed consultants, contractors, attorneys, the public, and regulators to ensure the timely and effective completion of the projects while maintaining his client's reputation, safety record, and budgetary goals.MC2 will support customers through every stage of a renewable energy project. As one of the owners and founders of Industria Engineering, Mr. Lotti is involved in all aspects of our projects. The principals of Industria Engineering have extensive experience in the energy, environmental and engineering fields with a focus on solar photovoltaics. The principals of Industria have been involved with the design, permitting, interconnection, construction, commissioning, and operation of 125+ Megawatts of solar arrays in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Maryland, and North Carolina. We have experience with solar projects on rooftops, brownfield sites, landfills, and car ports. Industria also offers engineering reviews of designs, field oversight of on going construction projects, and troubleshooting / operational review of existing PV arrays.

Mr. Lotti has comprehensive experience in the technical, financial, and administrative management of site investigations, feasibility evaluations, remedial design and construction at hazardous waste sites. Mr. Lotti has also managed the installation of multiple utility scale (500 kW and above) solar photovoltaic electricity generation facilities for an investor-owned utility in New England. The project portfolio included re-use of “Brownfield” sites for hosting the PV Facilities.Mr. Lotti has managed projects that range in value and scope from $10,000 engineering designs to $12,000,000 large- scale construction projects. Mr. Lotti works closely with his clients, teamed consultants, contractors, attorneys, the public, and regulators to ensure the timely and effective completion of the projects while maintaining his client's reputation, safety record, and budgetary goals.

Mr. Lotti was a Principal Environmental Engineer in the Site Investigation and Remediation Group of the Environmental Department of National Grid and served as the project manager for numerous former manufactured gas plants (MGP), former power plants, electrical substations and other miscellaneous contaminated sites that National Grid bears environmental responsibility for in New England.As the company representative and project manager, Mr. Lotti was responsible for implementing and managing the assessment, containment, and/or removal of the oil and hazardous material present at the various sites in order to protect human health and the environment.Mr. Lotti also supervised the New England Site Investigation and Remediation (NE SIR) Group and was responsible for evaluating and implementing new technical and regulatory developments in the ever-changing environmental field, updating senior management on the status of budgets, projects, and negotiations.

Project Manager for environmental consulting and engineering company. Comprehensive experience in the technical, financial, and administrative management of environmental investigation and construction projects at petroleum and industrial disposal sites. Responsibilities include:• preparing work scopes and cost estimates for new clients/projects• developing work plans for initial and comprehensive site investigations, risk characterizations, remedial action plans, remedy implementation plans, and project closure;• aiding in the design, installation, and operation of groundwater and soil remediation systems;• tracking schedules and budgets to ensure efficient and cost effective project completion; and• stewarding 20+ projects through environmental regulations,

Project Manager for environmental consulting company. Similar to the job responsibilities as project manager with GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., however, primary focus was the petroleum industry (e.g.: pipelines, bulk storage terminals, service stations). In addition to Project Manager duties, Mr. Lotti acted as Assistant Operations Manager for Hudson office. Responsibilities included hiring, training, staff reviews, staff conflict resolution, marketing, financial management, and development of new technologies within the office.

Staff Geologist for engineering design firm. Assigned to group that was subcontracted to Environmental Protection Agency ARCS Superfund Program. Responsibilities included: oversight and field operation supervision of contractors completing Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Studies (RI/FS), and Remedial Plan Implementation on Superfund Sites; supervision of construction of a soil cover system as a Remedial Action which involved monitoring the placement of over 1,000,000 tons of cover materials at a tannery waste pit Superfund site; oversight of large-scale excavation and earth moving project; and scheduling, implementing, and reporting of environmental activities at industrial facilities contaminated with chlorinated solvents.

Geologist for the New England Territory of Groundwater Technology (currently Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure) . Extensive fieldwork on projects that included assessment and remediation of soil and groundwater contamination at both petroleum and industrial sites. Responsibilities included: site construction supervision; collection and interpretation of field data for preliminary and comprehensive site assessments; and installation, maintenance, and inspection of soil and groundwater remediation systems. Prepared work scopes, cost estimates, and reports for a variety of environmental activities in compliance with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan and Federal Regulations. Assisted in training of entry-level geologists and environmental scientists.
