Shebang was a fantastic place for learning and mastering a variety of areas within web. My work ranged from basic websites for simple needs such as make-a-shake.co.uk to full bespoke white label e-commerce websites such as affordablemobiles.co.uk and shebang.net.Part of working on affordable mobiles involved me building eBay systems to bulk upload accessories to eBay. This was updating about 5k product stock levels (or description changes) every hour with a total of around 20k accessories we had listed on eBay.After the A1 comms buyout of affordable mobiles I maintained over 30 MVNO websites, all of which are e-commerce shops offering contract mobile phones with no credit checks. These websites were continuously changing with new features and new methods for selling products. It was a continuous learning curve and fantastic opportunity.
