In his roles, Michael performs municipal credit analysis, contributes to the ongoing development of Breckinridge’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) frameworks, and manages internal operations development projects. He joined Breckinridge in 2011 as an operations assistant and transitioned to Credit Research in 2012. Michael has over eleven years of investment industry experience. Prior to Breckinridge, he worked at State Street where he was hired as a portfolio accountant and transitioned into a hybrid portfolio reconciliation/trade operations role. Michael is a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and the Boston Municipal Analyst Forum. Michael holds a BA in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Massachusetts Amherst along with an MBA with dual focuses in Finance and Sustainability from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
