The Philippines

• Reporting to the Country Director with a dotted line to Save the Children International and a member of the Executive team. Established the Fundraising and Marketing department focusing on building the brand.
• Delivered individual giving income over USD 1 Million and corporate partnerships of over USD 500,000 with Johnson & Johnson, Glaxo Smith Kline, Western Union and Prudential, among others, within 2 years
• Launched marketing team to build the brand and improve supporter engagement through social media, and pro-bono print, display and TV advertising, prior to my start there were no external facing teams in the organization
• Led on registration of the organization as a Filipino entity as well as set up of business processes to ensure we could raise money in the Philippines

Greater Los Angeles Area

• Consulted for a variety of progressive organizations in the Los Angeles area while also "working" as a stay-at-home dad with my newly born son.
• Working with Unite Here, led a successful campaign for a living wage ballot initiative in Long Beach for hotel workers, securing over 70,000 signatures in a 2 month time frame, this campaign was one of the first of the.
• Working with Unite Here, ran boycott campaigns against hotels that workers were trying to unionize in order to maximize benefits to families coming from the business convention industry
• Working with Care 2, developed online campaigns for a lead generation social enterprise, acquiring tens of thousands of new supporters

• Set up all the business processes and procedures to ensure the financial health of the organization
• Undertook market tests of Direct Mail, Telemarketing, F2F, PSMS and social media supporter acquisition campaigns, recruiting over 5,000 regular giving supporters annually by end of 2010
