My career journey has been a mix of unique entrepreneurial ventures, from the quirky beginnings of removing cockroaches in my neighborhood to spearheading a campaign for the 1999 Padres manager (Bruce Bochy) to become the mayor of San Diego. Each endeavor has been a stepping stone, fueling my passion for transforming unconventional ideas into successful realities. After graduating from UCLA, I ventured into the business world, quickly ascending to the role of VP of Finance at an emerging startup in the Nutrition sector. In this capacity, I played a pivotal role in driving the company toward unprecedented financial achievements—securing cash flow positivity within 9 months, profitability by the 12th month, and full capitalization by the 18th. My role evolved to encompass a broader spectrum of responsibilities, including marketing, product development, and compliance, showcasing my adaptability and diverse skill set. In a collaborative venture with my exceedingly talented wife, we co-founded a company dedicated to empowering businesses with strategic storytelling. Our clientele spans from Fortune 500 companies to nimble small businesses, all benefiting from the transformative power of storytelling in shaping their success stories. Outside these roles, I pursue my passion for real estate investing and development, constantly seeking out the next promising project. My affinity for swimming and surfing keeps me attuned to life's natural rhythms, a reminder of the importance of maintaining balance between professional ambitions and personal well-being.
