Michael O’Brien is an serial entrepreneur and investor with more than 22 years of experience starting, building, buying and selling companies in the home services industry.It all began In Middle School when he sold BIC pen blow darts (not the smartest idea to sell in school) In High School he sold hand carved/cut key chains which helped pay his expenses in college and buy him a 1969 Mustang as a Sophomore (which he still has today). He went to college and sold the highest grossing T-shirts ever at Virginia Tech.After college he worked for KPMG as a CPA and as an ISO 9000 consultant and then he traveled the nation on the audit team at HoneyWell. In 1997.. he left the corporate world and started his own home services company.20+ years later he’s the CEO and President of PTX Painting, Inc. a strategic built group of companies designed to serve the painting industry consisting of fine finishers, residential painting, commercial painting, wallpaper hanging and decorative services.As the CEO of the TBJ Investment Group, a consortium of home service businesses, Michael is responsible for uniquely bridging the business strategy, marketing, operations and acquisition.As a strategist for his own companies and others, he consults with and he has helped owners, leaders and team members think though growth plans that have lead to dramatic changes in their effectiveness, performance and business results.
