General Tax - tax computations, data pack preparation, and filing of taxes for various companies which aided in creating capacity for taking in at least three more clients due to the reduced turnaround time of assignments. Private Enterprise - includes comprehensive support of new businesses, small to medium-sized enterprises, and family offices within the East African region by helping create capacity-building platforms such as hosting roundtables and The KPMG Africa Venture Summit all in an aim of creating the next generation of businesses while inspiring innovation on the current businesses. This opened up more opportunities for collaboration of various companies with KPMG.

My roles as a finance intern include the following:▪ Assisting in preparing financial reports and analysis▪ Participating in budget planning and forecasting▪ Helping in invoicing and payment processing▪ Aide with auditing financial statements and documents▪ Supporting the financial team with various projects and tasks▪ Learning about financial regulations, policies and procedures and theirimplications to The Good Company▪ Participating in training and development opportunities▪ Providing administrative support to the finance team.
