Mike brings 31 years of first hand experience in application and consulting in the adoption, training and implementation of the Enterprise Learning Strategy and Performance Improvement. He is a noted expert and author in application of the Toyota Production System. Mike leads the GP Strategies team in its integration of acquisitions, most recently merging GP and LTGs Design capability centers into the world's single largest custom content Learning Experience team. Prior to his current position, Michael led the unification of GP Strategies design and development teams into a single customer focused center of excellence with hubs in US, Canada, UK and IndaHe supports clients by providing strategic development, coaching and mentoring organizational transformation through training and hands-on assistance during design, implementation and measurement of organizational and lean operating systems throughout their organizations.He has lead and developed teams internationally in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to 1997, Mr. Olive supported production, purchasing and engineering at United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney during its corporate transformation to Lean Manufacturing. His deep understanding of the Toyota Production System, was built through his experience as a member of the operations transformation team at United Technologies under the direct sensei guidance from Japan and the 14 years of consulting engagements since joining RWD Technologies, until its aquisition by GP Strategies. His involvement from Hospital Transformation, Accreditation, Safety and Quality Leadership, new product and facilities launch to staff and leadership recruiting, training and development have allowed him to see the direct application in manufacturing, healthcare, aerospace, transportation, administration and petrochemical environments.
