Over 21 of these as a financial adviser.Over the last 10 years I have been sharing my Lifestyle Financial Planning beliefs with my clients. This holistic, cashflow forecasting practice is how I truly believe financial advice should be delivered.I have often said to people who have asked, that the way I give financial planning advice, like many other excellent advisers who practice the same methods, is absolutely the right way for our job to be done.If more advisers/planners did this, clients would have a completely different perspective of our industry and the fantastic work we can do for our clients.Giving confidence to clients who wish to make changes in their lives, or give clear guidance to those at a crossroads in their life, due to redundancy, inheritance, loss of a loved one, setting up a new business or whatever the life event is.Also giving clients context in all decisions they make in their life that could have a financial impact on their future.In a recent feedback study of my client, I asked them what were the key benefits they felt after working together with me. The responses were exactly what I wanted to hear, they felt confident, reassured and had peace of mind about their financial future.Moving away from a reliance on fund performance, statistics, jargon and endless paper to concentrate on them, their lives, their ambitions and how these could be realised.I really enjoy my chosen profession and particularly the way I have chosen to deliver my advice for the clear benefit of my clients.
