Ensured that the budget was vital in accountability and expenditures, and management resulted in a 99.95% allocation rate for all funds. Oversaw the scanning of over 180 qualification/training records into electronic format, while reviewing over 2,000 individual qualifications, resulting in the successful integration of Advanced Skills Management an electronic training management tool. Spearheaded a comprehensive review of 204 assigned billets. Oversaw the qualifications and 180 personnel expending over 200,000 maintenance man-hours. His foresight and attention to detail played a vital role in the squadron's recognition as the best Fighter Attack Squadron on the East Coast, the Secretary of Defense Maintenance award, the Wade McClusky Maintenance award and the Retention Excellence Award.

Performs identification, removal and application of conformal coatings, removal and replacement of discrete and multi-lead components, preparation and installation of eyelets, repair and replacement of conductors and laminates, proper connection of wires to terminal and connector cups and other related repairs per stringent procedures. Operates and performs intermediate maintenance on various weapons systems test stations in repair support of airborne weapons. Performs in-depth maintenance on computer subsystems, peripheral equipment and digital subsystems, utilizing self-test and diagnostic test programs in support of complex naval aircraft weapons, guidance, communications and airborne electronics systems.
