On an annual basis, Paoletta coordinated and managed Billboard’s Dance + Electronic Music Summit. He also organized other VNU conferences, including “The Next Big Idea: The Future of Branded Entertainment.” In 2007, Paoletta accepted a position with Omnicom-owned music and entertainment marketing agency, GMR Entertainment. As GMRE’s VP of marketing, Michael managed a team dedicated to the creation, execution, and activation of brand/band partnerships. Two years later, he joined music agency Comma as executive producer. Throughout, Paoletta has been interviewed on numerous networks, including NBC, CBS, CNN, VH1, and the BBC—as well as been quoted in such publications as the New York Times, Parade and New York magazine—offering insight and knowledge on pop culture.
