I create intelligent and inspiring spaces that understand my clients’ operational requirements and engage with the people that use and interact within them. My services range from industry insight, workplace design, workplace strategy, change management, end to end moves, space planning, utilisation surveys, project strategy, brief development, concept design, furniture specification and scheduling, 3D visualisation, detailed construction information, onsite project delivery and statutory approvals.

Associate within a multi-disciplinary practice with a focus on hotel and hospitality design. Working in both traditional and modular design and construction methods for various leading hotel brands and developers throughout the UK and overseas.

I managed a talented team of interior designers within one of the industry’s leading design studios. Whilst at 442 Design I developed and introduced new ways of working that have allowed the team to enhance the level of detail and technical output in projects, which also extends to 3D visualisation, specification, lighting and FF&E. This approach enabled the team to respond to all projects in a considered and agile way whilst also maintaining a high level of co-ordination both internally and externally.

Senior designer. I was responsible for developing best in practice workplace disciplines from concept through to tender and delivery for key clients at BDP. One of my key projects was lead designer for the new PwC headquarters in Bristol.The 30,000 sq ft space consisted of three floors of flexible work space with various workplace settings and flexible bookable and non-bookable spaces. Unique to PwC Bristol is a rooftop terrace space that is used by PwC employees and visitors and also hosts external events within the Bristol community, which enhances the connect between PwC and its surrounding neighbours. The project was awarded a BCO (The British Council for Offices).

Senior level Workplace Designer for the workplace and property department. I was responsible for capturing and reviewing requirements from the many different operational aspects of Sky, ranging from broadcast functions / technical environments to corporate workplace. I am responsible for providing and managing design lead solutions from conception through to delivery. As Design Manager I ensure that all concept proposals are in line with Sky’s brand and workplace values, whilst making sure that projects are delivered on time and within budget to meet the highest level of quality.Whilst at Sky I have worked on developing and researching new & more efficient ways of working in the workplace, with a view to delivering the best practices from around the world to all Sky sites throughout the UK and Ireland.

Freelance Senior Interior Designer for a large interiors group based in Scotland. The role involved working within a framework to deliver a large number of refurbishment and new build projects for schools throughout the UK. I was responsible for leading furniture and interior design solutions from concept stage through to delivery, creating high-quality 3D concept packages with supporting detailed drawing packages for tender/construction. I also led design presentations to local government and school directors.

Freelance Interior Designer for a multi-award winning design practice. I was responsible for 2D and 3D concept images plus detail drawing packages for tender/construction.

Interior Designer at a multi-disciplinary architectural practice. My role involved designing interior projects for a large range of clients including Centrica, Scottish Gas, the Crown Office Procurator Fiscal, Edinburgh Sheriff Court, Cowlin and Balfour Beatty. I was responsible for 2D and 3D concept packs plus detailed design packs, leading the design from concept stage through to tender and project delivery. The role also included communicating with and managing the expectations of clients throughout the design and construction process.

Responsibilities included liaising with clients and sub-contractors, and the project management of out-of-hours moves. Strong communication was vital to the success of the position, as well as a clear understanding of both the design process and client expectations. Whilst at Royal London I was involved in a large number of projects ranging from a £2.2 million pound refurbishment of 2 North St David Street, Edinburgh, and also the design and project management of numerous commercial office spaces around the UK.
