In my current HR role, I'm tasked with leading and advising the CHRO of a health-care communications and medical education company in the build out of the HR department. My responsibilities also include designing and implementing a new organizational structure, streamlining processes, and introducing automation solutions. Additionally, I am revamping job titles, job descriptions, and pay structures to ensures fairness, clarity, and alignment across the organization, helping to attract and retain talent while maintaining internal equity and motivation.Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to learn from a diverse group of mentors from corporate, retail, small business, and self-employment backgrounds. Their invaluable insights have been crucial in shaping my approach to business & the rewarding positions I've held. As I step into any new role, I remain committed to a culture of continuous learning, always seeking to absorb knowledge and skills from those around me. Equally, I look forward to contributing my own experiences and insights, continuing to find joy in the mutual exchange of knowledge and expertise within my professional community.Stepping away from professional life, I channel my passion for mentorship into coaching youth soccer, a rewarding endeavor I've been committed to for over 35 years. My journey has seen me coach several teams over single seasons, but it's been the long-term associations, coaching three teams from when the players were 11 years old through to the age of 19, that has brought me the most joy. Witnessing their growth, triumphs in the face of adversity, the friendships they've forged, and the life lessons they've learned along the way has been an extraordinarily rewarding experience. It's a testament to the enduring power of mentorship, learning, and personal development - values I hold dear in every facet of my life.
