Re-engineered the demand/supply processes for over 30 million units per year across 17 factories globally (US, Mexico, Germany, China). Responsible for all outbound transportation and 6 Factory Distribution Centers with accountability for $150M in transportation spend and a $40M factory warehouse budget. Responsible for forecasting and distribution planning for all branded major appliances while leading a team of 10 direct reports and 400 hourly employees.• Led product damage reduction team that developed and implemented handling/shipping processes which reduced network wide damage by 60%• Led a cross functional team to develop a distribution network optimization resulting in improved customer delivery while reducing overall distribution cost and inventory investment

Full P&L responsibility for two finishing and assembly operations supporting $200M in sales with 14 salaried managers and over 400 hourly employees.• Implemented Lean processes to turn around high speed 2k paint line and assembly operations, improving FTT to 97% and labor productivity 30%• Developed 5S, visual factory standards, and Kan Ban systems in both operations, later rolled out to all Lacks divisions as best practice• Implemented the Daily Operating System (DOS) at all factories driving operational accountability

Much of the work was with development of a unique parts stock system (UPS) to offset long supplier lead times
