My passion is working with young people to help them reach their potential. As a teacher and coach, I emphasize effort, discipline, character & leadership development, knowledge of rules & strategies, skill development, and team building.I began my professional career working with special needs students at the Perkins School for the Blind. Working in the Deafblind Program from 2004-2009 was a great opportunity. The experience taught me patience, trusting in the process, and approaching each student as a unique individual.Returning to New York City in 2010, I began a new career as a baseball coach. I have coached at the youth, travel, high school, and college levels. As Head Coach at Rye Country Day School from 2014-2016, I helped lead talented teams to 3 consecutive appearances in the New York State Independent School (NYSAIS) Championship, winning the title in 2015.I joined the coaching staff of Adelphi University’s baseball program in the fall of 2018 as 1st base and outfield coach. Adelphi is a DII Program in the Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference. We finished 2019 ranked #21 in the nation.After moving to New Jersey in 2021, I became an assistant baseball coach at Millburn High School, a role I continue to serve on a part-time basis. In the spring of ‘22, I served as Head Baseball Coach at the Far Brook School, a nursery - 8th grade independent school in Short Hills, NJ. I began my tenure as Athletic Director of the Far Brook School in September of 2022. In addition to my AD role, I create curriculum and teach sports classes at every grade level, and I’m the Head Baseball & Soccer Coach for the 5th - 8th grade interscholastic teams.
