This was achieved through establishing comprehensive Design Principles, standardizing research and design processes, and implementing a cohesive design system. Most notably, I grew the UX team from one to become the largest UX team in Telstra Health globally in under two years.Key achievements include turning around a 98-hour User Story deficit to being ahead of sprint in just three weeks for the Helix Primary Care product, and delivering the VaxApp vaccination product two weeks ahead of schedule to 7x more user sites than originally planned. As of October 2024 over 250,000 vaccinations have been registered through the product in just 4 vaccination campaigns.I established the Accessibility Standard for Helix UK, forming a cross-functional Accessibility Council and embedding WCAG 2.2 AA compliance into workflows. Reframing accessibility from a nice-to-have to a non-negotiable, and positioned within the Safety & Assurance regulations.We were asked by the NHS to pilot their Reasonable Adjustments integration. Our focus on quality and detailed analysis work led to NHS recognition, with our team being commissioned to create benchmark guides for other suppliers.As part of the Technical Design Authority for Helix UK, I ensured User Experience formed an integral part in all strategic decisions alongside Architectural Standards and Safety & Compliance.
