My family and I are excited to move back to the greater San Diego Area. As much as I've appreciated my time in the Navy I am looking forward to applying my skills with Rubicon Technical Services as one of their Commissioning Engineers where I plan, direct and support RTS commissioning projects including validation, control system optimization, electrical testing services, root cause analysis, and operation and maintenance systems. As a Nuclear Machinist's Mate Chief in the Navy I have adapted successfully to many specialized assignments, however I am open to opportunities outside the industrial / military environment and am looking forward to continuing that success within your organization.I have twenty one year's experience in nuclear engineering technology, personnel supervision and management, administration and project planning. Seven years' experience with shipyard availabilities. My specialized knowledge is in the area of propulsion machinery and auxiliary equipment operation and repair, testing procedures, hazardous material management, radiological safety and transportation, quality assurance and work controls. However my experience and attitude is not limited to those specialties. I can pick up new programs and responsibilities quickly and am willing and able to learn. I am very effective at conflict resolution, personnel management and evaluations, resource acquisition, and program data audits. In my years in a leadership supervisory position I find that my passion is in creating positive work environments by use of strong leadership and the ability to recognize individual's strength and weaknesses to ensure team's peak performance to accomplish company goals. It is from this leadership that I received and was awarded two Navy Commendation Medals and six Navy Achievement Medals for outstanding leadership, management and specific achievement.
