About Michael Miller
Spent most of my first 20 years of my career in processor design and verification, from Motorola (now: Freescale) in 68K/ColdFire and now at IBM (PowerPC). Took a brief detour as a design consultant and ASIC/FPGA designer at a few start-ups in early 2000's.Since 2013, I have branched out into networking space with Cortina Systems (which was acquired by Inphi). At Inphi, and now Rambus (which acquired my group at Inphi), I design the 'helper chips' on DDR memory DIMMs. Using all the same skills as before, just building a different end products.Expertise in microarchitecture, design, RTL entry, verification, timing takedown, scripting.Spent some time doing FPGA design as well.Specialties: RTL (verilog / VHDL)SynopsysFormal verificationscripting languages (Perl, tcl, etc)
