My name is Michael Rourke and I am the head aquatics coach at Reagan High School in San Antonio, TX. My goal is to become an Executive Director of Athletics or Director of Aquatics at a school district so that I can help build and create one of the best athletic programs both on the field and in the classroom.I have a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, with a minor in Mathematics from Texas State University. I also have a Masters of Science in Coaching and Athletic Administration, with a focus in Exercise Physiology from Concordia University - Irvine. Finally, I hold a Principal as an Instructional Leader (EC-12) Certificate following the completion of the cert program at Lamar University. - I became the youngest head swim coach of a local swim team at age 19 - I am a Level 4 ASCA Swimming Certified Coach - I am a Level 3 Playtri Certified Triathlon Coach. - I am a USA Triathlon level 2 coach and a certified USA Swimming Coach. Along with my coaching experience, I have experience in mathematics that make me a desirable teaching/coaching combination.
