• PC Non Hardware - Printer AccessoriesResponsibilities: Buying and Marketing of printer accessories category including printer cartridges, Bulk paper, photo paper, toner and shredders. Selection of range, promotional.
• Through strong micro range management and improvement in availability, reversed -35% YOY sales units figures to +5% in a flat market.
• Designed and launched Private Label range of ink cartridges. In 3 months this range delivered 10% of sales for ink.
• Reviewed cost base including distribution strategy which resulted in the removal of a virtual warehouse saving £2 million.
• Produced and presented analysis to senior management regarding the pricing policy with 3 possible actions, this included a summary of the financial effects of each of action.
• Re-negotiated terms for cut sheet paper leading to a reduction in costs of 13%.

• Essentials - Entertainment - GamingResponsibilities: Working on the start-up business of Electroworld. Responsible for management of Key Essentials category whilst ensuring DSGI best practices were implemented across.
• Opened 8 stores with strong accessories ranges leading to Electroworld becoming the 3rd largest accessories retailer in Turkey.
• Creation of range portfolio, selecting key brands and developing relationships with distribution partners.
• Led negotiations with strategic European suppliers to ensure Electroworld benefitted from the same terms as DSGI.
• Developed Electroworld standard reporting measures for the commercial team utilising the Greek IT team to ensure all reports were accessible to the entire commercial team. Trained the commercial team on the use of.
• Consulted on all store layouts to ensure Accessories had sufficient and correctly located space. Fully responsible for all final merchandising of stores pre-opening.

• Responsibilities: Managing the audio essentials category through an iPod form factor change and rationalising the range of recording media in a declining market.Achievements:
• Through careful stock management and a strong promotional plan, reversed sales from -18% to + 6% YOY Sales.
• Internal negotiation to secure TV advertising space for iPod speakers during the key Christmas period. This promotion drove 35,000 units over 4 weeks and was DSGi’s most profitable advert for the financial year.
• Strong range management during the launce of the new generations of iPod led to low markdown whilst securing the initial production of the new iPod accessories led to an increase in market share.
• Implementation of ‘Live’ iPod Speakers merchandising allowing customers to ‘try before you buy’.
• Simplification of recording media range and SKU rationalisation improved shopability, stock turn increased by 0.5 turns per year.
