Bos Department (Port Kembla)

Monitored and controlled the daily output of steel from the BOS furnaces, setting up and calculating heat balances for each individual heat.- Co-ordinated small crew of crane drivers, fitters, electricians, and furnace operators.- Monitoring of general safety of crew, conducting regular safety audits and kept close regulation of environmental impact of process.
