Project Manager
Current• Providing input to the Project Management plans and directions, and ensuring on-going appropriate relationships with other positions.• Ensuring optimal results are delivered in line with performance metrics, including meeting budget and schedule requirements of all projects and meeting customer expectations by delivering cost-effective, reliable and quality products.• Collecting and analyzing technical and other necessary information to propose solutions to project-related issues before, during and after project activity.• Reviewing specifications, drawings and estimate requests to determine scope of work, material requirements and required contents of estimates. Consulting with Engineering, Construction and Operations, contractors and suppliers to ensure estimates reflect current pricing and construction costs. Preparing full-cost estimates at the conceptual, preliminary and final stages that conform to a high level of accuracy and meet customer expectations.• Coordinating activities for the design, construction and commissioning of projects.• Liaising with customers, design team and operations group for regular communication and feedback on work progress.• Coordinating the material procurement process with Supply Chain by creating project material lists, updating material spreadsheets and communicating all materials orders.• Providing direction to construction crews when necessary to address issues during constructions. Consulting engineering resources when necessary.• Writing proposals, contracts and tender documents for potential opportunities.• Regularly reporting project performance metrics as directed by the Manager, Operations.• Providing guidance, direction and mentoring to junior peers.• Demonstrating a high performance, high discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative and achievement-oriented, easy to do business with manner of working.
