Built from the ground up to take advantage of the raw capabilities of NAND based flash, DSSD's first product, the D5, boasts over 10M IOPS, 100GB/s bandwidth, and 100 microseconds of latency contained in a 5U appliance form factor.Michael was brought onboard at the beginning of 2016 to start up the Asia Pacific business. In this capacity, Michael is responsible for all aspects of the DSSD business in Asia Pacific, including:* Launch the DSSD D5 product to all relevant Asia Pacific countries and meeting with enterprise customers and partners to understand their performance related challenges and explore ways that DSSD can assist in solving those challenges.* Create and execute a go to market plan that will drive initial early adopter customers as well as meet revenue targets in Asia Pacific.* Enabling the EMC salesforce as well as the EMC Partner community to effective message and bring DSSD to their customer base.* Work with key ISV's in the Asia Pacific region to drive adoption of the DSSD D5 to accelerate their solution offerings.* Work with Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure that global messaging and product roadmaps are developed with the unique requirements of Asia Pacific in mind.
